Public Seminar | Strengthening sanctions against Russia with the Nobel laureate prof. Simon Johnson
About the seminar
Professor Johnson, whose influential work on mechanisms like the oil price cap has shaped current policy debates, will provide insights into enhancing the impact of sanctions within the framework of international law and economics. His expertise is particularly pertinent given the ongoing
conflict in Ukraine and the broader implications for European security and economic stability.
Following Professor Johnson's address, Maria Perrotta Berlin, SITE's sanctions project lead, will present SITE's work in this area and moderate a discussion with sanctions experts from Ukraine and Sweden.
