SSE does well in evaluation of sustainability in education
The Swedish Higher Education Authority (UKÄ) has, on behalf of the government, evaluated the work on sustainable development in the field of education. Some positive examples from SSE were highlighted in the evaluation including Misum, Global Challenges and our membership in PRME.
Sustainable development means that current and future generations should have a healthy and good environment, economic and social well-being and justice. The evaluation was based on self-assessments in which universities themselves described their work. Among other things, they described their follow-up and feedback routines and how they helped to secure and develop sustainable development work in their programs. An assessment group then examined these self-assessments.
