The Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE) and Energiforsk would like to welcome you to its 2025 SITE Energy Talk. This edition will address the evolving relationship between AI and the Future of Energy.

As the energy transition accelerates, AI is becoming an essential part of how we manage, optimize, and secure modern energy systems. Leading technology companies are investing heavily in the energy sector, recognizing its importance for economic growth. At the same time, public institutions and national defense strategies increasingly see AI-based energy solutions as key to strengthening resilience and ensuring infrastructure security.

This event will bring together academics, experts, and innovators to explore how AI is already shaping the future of energy—from local tools and smart grids to national planning and regional transformation.
