Christina Nyström

Christina Nyström is the Chief Learning Officer (CLO) at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE), where she joined in 2021. She has a joint appointment with SSE Executive Education, where she is also the Manager for Digital Learning and Support and a member of the Management Team. Additionally, she is part of the steering committee of “The network for learning,” a network that focuses on the future of learning spaces and environments.

As the CLO, Christina leads the SSE Pedagogy Team and the Digital Learning and Support team at SSE Executive Education. With these teams, she oversees the initiation, development, and implementation of various activities and projects supporting Faculty at SSE and SSE Executive Education. She also works closely with Faculty, Professional Services, and SSE Executive Education to ensure cross-school collaboration and alignment. Christina is passionate about exploring digital learning tools and new learning technologies to enhance the learning conditions and experiences for students and participants.

Christina holds a PhD in Political Science from Northwestern University, where she discovered her love for teaching. She has more than 20 years of experience in various roles in education.
