Andreas Werr is awarded the Lars Erik Lundberg Professorship in Business Administration

By means of a donation of SEK 20 million from Lars Erik Lundberg, the Lars Erik Lundberg Professorship in Business Administration has been established, focusing on human capital in particular. The Board of Directors of the Stockholm School of Economics has appointed Andreas Werr as the holder of the new professorship.

Today, pupils and students in more than 2,050 cities in over 120 countries are expected to carry out climate protests. Students at the Stockholm School of Economics will leave the School at 11 a.m. to participate in the Stockholm protest. They are supported by researchers Lars-Gunnar Mattsson, Svenne Junker and Lin Lerpold at the School, and were among the 270 researchers behind the article “As climate scientists, we support Greta and the school pupils” in the debate section of Swedish national daily Dagens Nyheter (15 March 2019).

The Stockholm School of Economics has the highest proportion of international students according to a new report from Stockholms Akademiska Forum (Stockholm Academic Forum). Of the total number of students, 30 percent come from countries other than Sweden, which is the highest proportion among the universities in Stockholm.
