The 10th Anniversary of the Nordic Econometric Meeting May 23-26, 2019

STOCKHOLM SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS, SWEDEN

The 10th anniversary of NEM2019 will be held at the Stockholm School of Economics, May 23-26, 2019. The conference is open to both theoretical and applied econometricians from all countries working in a broad range of fields, including (but not limited to) macroeconomics, financial economics, international economics, industrial organization, labour economics, health economics and spatial economics. Graduate students are particularly encouraged to present their research papers. The local organizers gratefully acknowledge financial support by the Jan Wallander’s and Tom Hedelius’ foundation and the Tore Browaldh’s foundation.

A central theme for the NEM2019 is “Nonlinear Time Series Econometrics,” and we are pleased to announce the keynote speakers:

Timo Teräsvirta: Professor Emeritus of Econometrics, Aarhus University (CREATES), Denmark, and Humboldt Universität zu Berlin (CASE), Germany.

Dag Tjøstheim: Professor Emeritus of Statistics, University of Bergen, Norway.

Robert Taylor: Professor of Financial Econometrics, University of Essex, United Kingdom.

A PhD training school on “Nonlinear Time Series Analysis and Forecasting” will precede the meeting and will be lectured on May 22-23, 2019 by Jan G. De Gooijer: Emeritus Professor of Economic Statistics, University of Amsterdam, Netherlands.

You are invited to submit a paper. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically using the email address: cdaevents@hhs.se. Please write NEM2019 as the subject of the email, and provide details about your academic position and the title of your paper in the email.

Deadline for submissions: March 17, 2019.

Notification for authors: March 31, 2019.
