Applied History
CSSC’s undergraduate course in Applied History, which has been given at SSE since 2020, aims to cultivate a historical sensibility among business and economics students at the undergraduate level. The students’ final essays are published in an anthology.
Pictured above is our visit in the spring of 2022 to the Centre for Geopolitics at the University of Cambridge, where our students listen to a lecture by Bridget Kendall.
CSSC can offer students access to first-rate physical and intellectual environments. Our facilities at Engelsberg are used to host courses. Students will also benefit from CSSC’s cooperation with the University of Cambridge, King’s College London, and the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. Through this collaboration, CSSC can give students opportunities to visit and learn from some of the world’s leading academics.
