Governing Complex Co-operation. A Study of Swedish Corporatist Insurance Companies
(sv Ledning av komplex organiserad samverkan. En studie av svenska korporativa försäkringsbolag)
(Research fellow Stefan Einarsson and Associate professor Markus Kallifatides)
In this project, we study empirically the conditions, forms and modes of governance of a specific kind of organisation: the corporatist (and mutual) insurance companies controlled by the Swedish national federations of employers’ and workers’ organizations. The project aims at contributing to governance theory by highlighting these particular empirical examples of governing at the intersection of corporate and civil society organizations, as well as to on-going policy debate regarding the value creation and distribution these particular modes of governance generate.
