Nordic Happiness Summit

The first ever Nordic Happiness Summit – thank you for joining us!

On March 24th and 25th, the very first Nordic Happiness Summit took place in Helsinki, Finland. The summit, a collaboration between the Business Lab at Hanken School of Economics and the Center for Wellbeing, Welfare and Happiness at the Stockholm School of Economics, brought together researchers, business leaders and change-makers to explore happiness, wellbeing and welfare at every level – national, organizational, and individual.

- Happiness, wellbeing and welfare are what both economics and business are fundamentally about; how can we make life better for everyone? With the Nordic Happiness Summit we establish a space for thinkers and stakeholders to discuss and learn how we all can contribute, in a context that ranks as the happiest in the world - said Micael Dahlen, Professor at the Center for Wellbeing, Welfare and Happiness at the Stockholm School of Economics.

The theme of this year’s summit was “Togetherness”, and we are grateful to everyone who contributed to the important conversations and shared their insights and energy.

We’re excited to announce that Nordic Happiness Summit 2026 will be held in Stockholm, Sweden. Stay tuned – and we hope to see you there!
