Research in Accounting
Accounting is a broad area and our relatively large faculty covers research in a wide range of topics. Even though company and business related questions are always at heart of our research, studies include everything from capital market reactions to pure managerial issues. Our research is likely to be helpful for situations such as capital market investment decisions; accounting standard setting; financial reporting practices; and managerial decisions for operating and controlling the multitude of activities that characterizes a modern organization. Our faculty regularly publishes in the leading accounting journals, we have highly internationally respected visiting Professors connected to the department, we hold regular seminars and work-shops with invited guests, and offer a PhD program that ensures ongoing development of the department.
