Andreas Gustafsson

Andreas Gustafsson is Senior Vice President and General Counsel Europe Nasdaq and manages the group that provides legal and regulatory support for Nasdaq’s European regulated entities including Exchanges, CCPs, CSDs and investment firms. He also oversees the Trading and Issuer Surveillance department, which monitors members and issuers on the Nordic Exchanges, in compliance of EU regulations, and covers all major governmental policy directives in Europe. Andreas has been with Nasdaq since 2005 and previously was with the Swedish FSA, in which he was involved in European policy working groups such as MiFID. He is the Chairman of Nasdaq Stockholm AB, member of the Listing Committee, ESMA Securities and Markets Stakeholder Group and CityUK International Regulatory Strategy Group.
Nasdaq has been supporting SHoF for many years, including grants from their trusts in the Nordic region. “SHoF increases the connection and understanding between practitioners and academia”, Andreas emphasizes. “I would like to support connecting practitioners in the financial market and SHoF with knowledge about developments within the financial market and connections in the European financial market”.
