PhD visitor program

The Swedish House of Finance at the Stockholm School of Economics (SHoF) provides PhD students from other universities the opportunity to visit and discuss their research with our PhD students and faculty and to participate in other research-related activities at SHoF.

A visit should be for at least two weeks and can be undertaken in conjunction with attending a PhD course at SHoF. For students from other universities in Sweden, we offer some financial support for such visits, though it may not cover all the expenses.

PhD Students with an interest in financial economics from Swedish universities are automatically approved. To ensure we can accommodate your visit please send an email to marieke.bos@hhs.se so we can coordinate the timing of your visit.

PhD students from Universities outside Sweden require that their supervisor sends a brief motivation, and budget, to one of the Professors from our faculty who will act as the students host during his/her visit. Decisions will be made on a continuous basis and will depend on the available office space.
