SNS/SHoF Finance panel: The Banking Union: What’s in it for Sweden?
Welcome to a breakfast seminar with John Berrigan, Deputy Director General of the Commission’s financial services division and Karolina Ekholm, State Secretary at the Ministry of Finance.
There is now a very active debate on how to deepen the European co-operation in the euro area and in the Banking Union. At the seminar we will discuss the different options for countries, such as Sweden, that are neither members of the euro area nor the Banking Union. John Berrigan will outline the European Commission’s policy priorities in 2018 when it comes to the Banking Union.
The seminar is co-organised by the European Commission Representation in Sweden, Swedish House of Finance and SNS.

NOTE that the seminar will take place on the European Commission representation in Sweden, located about 100 meters from SNS: Europahuset, Regeringsgatan 65, level 2. Registration and breakfast at the European Commission Representation from 07:30. The meeting will start at 08:00.
