SNS/SHoF Finance panel: The Minister of Finance on EU cooperation in economic and financial matters
Welcome to a dialogue on where the EU-cooperation is heading in economic and financial matters. The Minsiter of Finance, Magdalena Andersson, commented on Brexit, the negotiations over the new EU budget, the intensified cooperation in the Eurozone as well as the Capital Markets Union and the Banking Union.
She touched upon other questions of importance to Sweden on the agenda in the Ecofin council, i.e. the council for Ministers of Finance and the economy responsible for EU´s economic policy, taxationmatters, financial markets, capital movements and economic dealings with countries outside of the EU.
What is the position of Sweden in different questions and how is the Government pursuing these questions? The minister will also touch upon the cooperation within the “New Hanseatic League”
