SNS/SHoF Finance panel: Is there a need to regulate cryptocurrencies?
How do policy makers around the world plan to regulate cryptocurrencies? Can cryptocurrencies be used to avoid financial sanctions? SNS/SHoF Finance Panel where MIT Professor Antoinette Schoar discussed the emerging risks and promises of a wider adoption of these technologies, together with Martin Flodén, Deputy Governor of the Riksbank, and Kristian Gårder, Co-Head of Equities at SEB.

Antoinette Schoar is Professor of Finance at the MIT Sloan School of Management. She is a well-known thought leader in the fields of blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Her current research focuses on the areas of consumer finance, entrepreneurial finance, and new financial technologies.
