About the position
We offer a key role in an international research environment, where you will have the opportunity to be creative and find new ways to do outreach work. You will be part of a small team with diverse tasks. We are now looking to evaluate and develop our communication efforts to reach and specify different target groups both in Sweden and internationally.
Your main task is to contribute to the strategic communication efforts in making finance research accessible for policymakers and people working in the financial sector. You will work with both traditional and social media as well as other digital formats and channels. You will also be involved in preparing and implementing public seminars and conferences arranged by SHoF.
You are expected to
• strengthen the strategic communication with a focus on optimizing the external communication to reach important target groups
• report and evaluate communication efforts to increase impact in traditional and social media
• write shorter texts for web, social media and events
• build and nurture relationships with Swedish media
• collaborate with other communication managers within the Stockholm School of Economics
• contribute to event management
Your profile
You will work in an ambitious environment with high standards, so we believe that you are self-confident and autonomous. You are proactive and flexible, and get things done efficiently and accurately.
It is required that you have
• excellent team player skills
• experience from working with strategic communication
• excellent writing skills in Swedish and English
• an interest in understanding and promoting financial research
• good knowledge of web publishing, social media outreach
• good organizational ability
• a relevant university degree
• a few years of work experience from similar duties
It is good if you also have
• knowledge of the Swedish financial sector
• knowledge about SEO, Google Analytics or similar evaluation tools
• experience of working with CRM systems
Other
The position is full-time, with a six-month probationary period.
