Welcome to the Brown Bag Seminar in Economics organized by the Department of Economics, SSE. The seminar speaker is Fadhil Nadhif Muharam, SSE.

Marking the publication of Stefan Krook’s latest work, we gathered to examine why today’s sustainability efforts fall short and why a deeper redesign of our economic system is required. Building on the legacy of Erik Dahmén’s call to price the environment, the evening centered on Krook’s argument for embedding true environmental costs into every product, followed by a panel discussion with Michael Treschow, Susanna Campbell, Lisen Schultz, and Stefan Krook on how markets, businesses, and consumers can align with planetary health and long-term prosperity.
