Gallery visit: Jens Fänge at Galleri Magnus Karlsson
Ett annat land (The Land Beyond) at Galleri Magnus Karlsson, last day March 9.
The Swedish artist Jens Fänge, born 1965, is represented in the SSE permanent collection with his big and beautiful site specific artwork Clout in the Heckscher-Ohlin room (se pic below). He lives and works in Stockholm, has exhibited internationally alot, and right at the moment his gallery in Stockholm are showing his exhibition Ett annat land (The Land Beyond).
Jens Fänge´s works are often assemblage: like small worlds of three-dimensional collages where Fänge intervenes in the room with the help of textiles, paint, wood and objects in different layers.
