Leadership for teacher retention: Which approaches and mechanisms?

Dong Nguyen (Durham University) will discuss some contemporary insights into the effective approaches and practices to motivate and retain teachers in schools and the profession. These insights are drawn from the findings of a project reviewing the international research on leadership, culture, and structure for teacher retention, across more than 60 countries, for the past two decades. The project is funded by Education Endowment Foundation in England. Dong will also share about the methods of evidence search, evaluation, and synthesis.
