On November 10th, the House of Innovation and Department of Management and Organization welcomed Professor Dean Shepherd (U. of Notre Dame) in presenting a research seminar showcasing his recent research on individuals and organizations rising through adversity.

On November 10th, we welcomed Professor Dean Shepherd from the University of Notre Dame who will showcase his recent research on individuals and organizations rising through adversity, covering contexts such social venturing in refugee camps, war zones and natural disaster areas.

Dean A. Shepherd is the Ray and Milann Siegfried Professor of Entrepreneurship, University of Notre Dame. He is a world-renowned expert in entrepreneurship, strategy, and social change with numerous scholarly awards and publications in the top journals in entrepreneurship, operations, organization theory, strategy, and psychology. Much of his research has a social psychological perspective on individual well-being, activity, grief, and recovery from setbacks.
