Provoking, inspiring, and infusing: A tour of SSE art and spaces - 9 Apr 2025

Join us for an exclusive art tour where we explore how the organizational environment and the objects that inhabit it shape our daily experiences and work. Through a guided tour of the Stockholm School of Economics, we will study the role of art and design in creating a dynamic and inspiring workplace.

Our workplace and the objects that inhabit it are crucial for how we experience work, our well-being, and our identification with the organization. This special tour will immerse our participants in the environment of the Stockholm School of Economics, and showcase its prominent art collection and ad-hoc designed spaces. As we will be strolling through the building, we will learn how spaces and objects provoke reflection, inspire actions, and overall infuse our everyday tasks and creative practices.

The tour of SSE art and spaces will be led by Giada Baldessarelli, Assistant Professor at the House of Innovation. In her research, Giada studies the role of (physical and digital) materiality in day-to-day organizational processes and the development of creativity. In particular, she is interested in how sensory-driven reactions influence individual and collaborative work to develop design outputs.

The event will be co-hosted by Tinni Ernsjöö Rappe and the SSE Art Initiative that aims at creating a stimulating and engaging environment that integrates art into the academic world, fostering creativity and critical thinking.

The art tour will conclude with an informal mingle.
