Prof. Mattia Bianchi

As of June Prof. Mattia Bianchi directs the Sustainable Business Development through Entrepreneurship and Innovation platform.

Mattia Bianchi is Professor of Innovation Management at the House of Innovation, Stockholm School of Economics. He holds a BSc, MSc and PhD in Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and an International Diploma in Management from Imperial College London, UK. Mattia has also been visiting scholar at the University of Calgary and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Mattia's research interests are in the fields of innovation management, new product development and entrepreneurship, with a special focus on open innovation, lean and agile development processes and design thinking. He is currently developing a research program on sustainable forestry.

Marieke Bos

As of July Marieke Bos co-directs the Sustainable Finance Initiative with Emma Sjöström.

Marieke Bos is Docent, and Deputy Director at the Swedish House of Finance at the Stockholm School of Economics. She also holds an Associate Professor position at the Finance department of the VU Amsterdam and is a visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia Consumer Finance Institute. Marieke received her MSc from University of Amsterdam and Ph.D. in Economics from Stockholm University. Marieke’s research focuses mainly on individuals’ decision-making within the field of Household Finance and Empirical Banking. Her latest research projects explore the impact of mergers and acquisitions on a broader set of stakeholders, including employees, and their family members. In addition, she is analyzing in two new projects the intergenerational transmission of financial distress/over-indebtness (i.e. what is the impact of growing up in a family in financial distress).
