Workshop with Axelerate on Diversity & Inclusion
Students were presented with a video brief by Eliza Kücükaslan, Head of Axelerate, who asked students to come up with creative ideas as to what activities or offers Axel Johnson’s companies could arrange at Järvaveckan to increase diversity in their businesses. Axel Johnson is the main partner to The Global Village, the foundation behind Järvaveckan. Järvaveckan is an event where politicians, companies and citizens meet to discuss societal issues. The aim is to decrease the gap between politicians and citizens and to drive positive change in vulnerable areas.
Students worked together in groups and recorded video presentations which were submitted to the company. Solutions included everything from“speed-dating” with Axel Johnson employees to arranging a cooking workshop with Axfood featuring different cuisines from across the world. The groups then received feedback from the company representatives over scheduled Zoom-meetings.
