Grant to Kristina Tamm Hallström (DMO)
22 mars, 2021
Kristina Tamm Hallström (DMO) has been granted 1.850.000 SEK from the Hakon Swenson Stiftelsen for the project “What can we learn from the 100-year-olds?”, to be run in 2022 and 2023, together with Karin Fernler (DMO) and Jenny Lindberg (Urban and Regional Studies, KTH).
The project investigates value creation processes around 10 small urban stores for consumer products, founded 100 years ago and still in business, to explain their existence in today’s rationalized, large-scale and often globalized retail landscape. To identify values and value creation the actor-networks – in the narrow as well as the broader, institutional environment – of the stores will be examined.
