Business Lobbying in the European Union

This presentation builds on the published monograph "Business Lobbying in the EU" (OUP, 2021). Alex will be presenting key theoretical insights and empirical evidence drawing from his co-authored book. This includes observations on the macro-historical trends of government affairs in Brussels; meso-level discussions about the impact of the policy good on business lobbying; and micro-level data about the strategic choices business makes to gain a non-market competitive advantage.
