The SSE MBA launches innovative leadership and coaching initiative
To successfully lead and manage organizations in an increasingly complex world, solid leadership and coaching skills are required. The objective of the SSE MBA Coaching Program is to empower participants to realize their full potential as leaders, personally as well as professionally. The coaches work with the participants individually, in group sessions and through an innovative peer-to-peer coaching program to achieve valuable, tangible results for the students and their sponsoring companies.
“This in an exciting new initiative, building on previous coaching experiences in earlier programs but significantly expanded and integrated as an integral part of the SSE MBA program. I’m proud to say we now have one of the most advanced coaching components amongst leading EMBA programs around the world.”, says Karin Wiström, Director SSE MBA and EMBA Council Board Member.
The SSE MBA has developed this coaching initiative with an SSE MBA 2010 alumn, Grant Calder. What makes this program unique is its combination of directive assignments with individual, in-group and peer-to-peer coaching activities. Together this creates a powerful set of building blocks for leaders to use in developing their own vision, mission, self-awareness, self-management, coaching techniques and leadership skillset.
“Working with the Stockholm School of Economics to design and deliver an innovative coaching program within its LeadershipLive MBA framework provides a unique opportunity for everyone involved to make meaning, create value, achieve results and change the world in tangible ways.”, says Grant Calder, SSE MBA Lead Coach & CEO at the Roll AB.
