20 november, 2017
Jens Nordfält, researcher at the Department of Maketing and Strategy at the Stockholm School of Economics, was nominated Influencer of the Year at the MarC Gala last Friday.
Jens has created a model for measuring people's behavior in stores. His work has had a big impact on how to create a better customer experience in the shops.
The jurys' statement reads:
"Through a combination of questionnaires and data about customer behavior in stores, Jens has increased the knowledge about what influences the actual behavior in the retail environment. In his latest study, he investigated the possible effects of cell phone usage in the store and how visual distraction in different places can affect people's propensity to buy. This research has given good understanding about how consumers behave and are affected. "
