The Financial Times published the 2022 ranking of Masters in Finance programs today and SSE’s MFIN is ranked at 20 in the world, an improvement over 2021. A significant part of the ranking is the “overall satisfaction index” where SSE’s alumni reported an index of 9.39. 

The SSE alumni have higher salaries, a higher salary percentage increase, higher numbers in “aims achieved” and a ten-point climb in the criterion “career service rank”.

”The MSc program in Finance attracts an amazing group of students who work hard and go on to impactful careers. The last few years have seen record numbers of applicants, rising employer interest, and new courses in areas such as real estate and sustainability. This year's ranking improvement is welcome proof that these efforts produce tangible benefits,” says Bo Becker, who is stepping down as Director for the MFIN Program at the end of June.

Bo Becker is moving on to serve as Head of the Finance Department and the Director of the Swedish House of Finance (SHOF). Anders Andersson, also with the Swedish House of Finance, will be assuming responsibility for the MFIN program.
