Safety and security at SSE

The Swedish terrorism threat level has been raised from elevated (3 out of 5) to high (4 out of 5) reports the Swedish Security Service (“Säkerhetspolisen” or “Säpo”).

The reason for the change is due to the worsened situation regarding the threat of attacks in Sweden, and the authority predicts that the new level will persist for a long time.

Faculty, students, staff and operations at the Stockholm School of Economics will carry on as usual. However, it is advised to be more attentive of situations that are suspicious or out of the ordinary.

The authority’s decision is not based on a particular event and there is no threat towards the Stockholm School of Economics. The SSE Crisis Management Team meet on a regular basis to monitor the development.

In line with the recommendations, we have reinforced our security on campus and we encourage everyone to be vigilant, and report anything suspicious and out of the ordinary to:

SSE Info Center at +46 8-736 90 00, info@hhs.se

or to

The SSE Security Guard on +46 70-555 55 98
who is available everyday around the clock.
