Henrik Nilsson is the Jan Wallander Professor of Accounting and Financial Management at Stockholm School of Economics. He earned his PhD degree in accounting from the University of Umeå (Sweden). At SSE Henrik teaches auditing and financial accounting and financial statement analysis and valuation at introductory and advanced levels. Henrik’s current research focuses on behavioral aspects of accounting choice, auditing, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility and insider trading. His publications include articles in Journal of Accounting and Economics, Review of Accounting Studies, Contemporary Accounting Research and Journal of Financial Economics. During the 2017-2022 period he served as an associate editor of the European Accounting Review. In 2023 Henrik received the Swedish Auditing Academy Award for significant contributions in accounting and auditing research.
