Jenni Puroila is a PhD candidate at the Department of Management and Organization (DMO), affiliated with Misum Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets at the SSE and a member of Posthumanities Hub (LiU). As part of her PhD thesis, she studies more-than-human organizing in forest-based wellbeing practices. Her current research interests include feminist posthumanities and more-than-human organization studies.
Jenni has previously conducted research on sustainability reporting, focusing on dialogic accounting and agonistic pluralism. She holds an MSc in Responsible Business from the University of Tampere, Finland. Jenni lectures on corporate sustainability, reporting, and governance at the Stockholm School of Economics and other universities. She has experience training sustainability professionals in the use of sustainability reporting frameworks and formerly worked as a Research Analyst at the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in Amsterdam. She is originally from Finland.
