Suvi has published extensively in the top marketing and management journals, such as Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Service Research, Tourism Management, Industrial Marketing Management, and British Journal of Management. She is an Associate Editor for Marketing Theory and a member of three further editorial boards.

She has also been involved in several executive education initiatives in Europe, the Middle East, and Australasia for firms such as ABB, AstraZeneca, Fletcher Building, Gjensidige, Handelsbanken and Telia. Suvi has designed and led several large business development programs ranging from applied research consortium projects to firm-specific executive education programs. Suvi has been voted the Teacher of the Year twice: at the Hanken School of Economics (Finland) in 2013 and at SSE in 2024.
