Scholarships
The Stockholm School of Economics offers a number of different scholarships every year. These scholarships attract top talent who might not choose SSE otherwise and therefore increase the value of SSE’s alumni network, connections and reputation. Scholarships are currently offered by both foundations and individuals, and can carry with them specific set of criteria decided by the donor. We encourage the establishment of scholarships that seek to provide an education at SSE for those who might not otherwise not have the opportunity.
Tuition-Bases Scholarships for students from outside the EU
Scholarships can fully or partially cover the cost of tuition fees, and may also cover living or travel expenses. To see an example of some of our current scholarships, please visit our Tuition and Scholarships page. The tuition fees of our Bachelor and Masters programs are below (in Swedish kronor):
BSc programs: 120 000 SEK / year (total cost 360 000/3 year)
MSc programs: 180 000 SEK / year (total cost 360 000/2 year)
Living-Expense Scholarships for BSc & MSc Students from Sweden
SSE aims to ensure that the best and brightest students from all over Sweden are able to attend SSE. Since studying at SSE is free for Swedish students, this scholarship supports living expenses for students who are the first in their family to attend university or come from a rural area in Sweden.

Scholarships change lives
"Without the scholarship, which I received from the Foundation, I could not have afforded my studies...While with (the scholarship donor), I have received guidance throughout the journey. He has carefully followed and supported my academic, personal as well as professional journey. To meet such a mentor can transform one’s life...I will continue to update him on my progress in order for him to observe that the seed he planted in me has grown into a tree that bears fruit and can benefit other people."
