Group Mentoring Session: Building an International Career
Welcome to the second group mentoring session of this year's program, focusing on building an international career. This session will offer insights on how to successfully navigate and establish a career across borders.
We will be joined by Jannik Heckenhahn, Manager of Global Talent Strategy at ICUnet, and Ziya Sang, Head of Strategy at Cisco. Together, they will share their experiences and offer practical advice on pursuing an international career, whether in Sweden or abroad. You will have the opportunity to learn from their journeys and gain actionable strategies to apply to your own career path.
Jannik Heckenhahn has worked in Japan, Germany, Spain, Rwanda, and Kenya. As a consultant at BCG, he was part of projects crossing the African and European continent. Now, he works for ICUnet where he consults companies on how to improve cultural diversity and recruit efficiently internationally.
Ziya Sang, an alumna of the MSc in Business & Management program at SSE (Class of 2019), began her career as a management consultant at McKinsey. She is now Head of Strategy at Cisco, as well as an active contributor and advisor in the startup community in the Nordics.
