SSE have a number of venues available that are suitable different occasions and sizes of events. Learn how to book a room, and what to keep in mind as responsible for the event.
Find contact details for the responsible units and staff at the bottom of this page.
If you are unable to book a specific room there, such as the Heckscher-Ohlin room, please get in touch with the Info Center; info@hhs.se
Please notice when booking rooms that there must always be a 15 minute break between the bookings in a room.
Book the venue longer than the event itself, both before and after, so there is time for setting-up and cleaning.
The room must be restored when you leave it. Make sure that the catering company picks up crockery, leftover food, and rubbish from SSE within your booked time. We have no opportunities to have food carts standing in our spaces and receive large amounts of rubbish, so please book an extra classroom for that.
The door to the entrance on Sveavägen 65 and the doors to the hallways are centrally programmed to be open or locked. Make a schedule over which times they should by unlocked vs. locked. Please contact Peter Fridlund or Jimmy Hansen regarding all relating questions and requests, including key cards for suppliers.
Some rooms require a specific key. Please contact premisescaretaker@hhs.se regarding keys.
Cleaning & refurbishing
Cleaning
Order extra cleaning, both before and after the event. Include nearby restrooms, stairs etc. Contact Public Clean: nabila@publicclean.se or call +46 70 176 31 80.
Refurbishing
In some cases, you might need to move around the furniture in the event venue, or make other changes around the interior. If so, book a start-up meeting with Public Clean at least two weeks before the planned event. Public Clean needs a sketch or review of how the furniture should be during the event at least one week before the planned event. To be able to restore furniture after the event, they need to know what the regular set-up looks like.
There are 8 "buffet tables" available, with the measures 75*120 cm. Please contact Public Clean to help you get them.
Ventilation
If you are having an event after 19:00 or on a weekend, the ventilation may need to be adjusted. Contact Premises Caretaker well in advance; premisescaretaker@hhs.se
Technical equipment
Some rooms have more advanced technical equipment then others. Find an overview of the available resources and size of each room here. In some cases (ie in the Aula), you might need to hire both equipment and a technician for the event, to handle light, sound and screen. Contact AV-Ljudtjänst on info@avljud.se or call 08-736 6006.
For larger events, please contact events@hhs.se
Delivery addresses
For events in premises in Bertil Ohlins gata 5 (Sveavägen 65) enter the following address: Stockholm School of Economics, Kungstensgatan 32, 113 57 Stockholm
For events in other venues:
Saltmätargatan 13–17 Saltmätargatan 19 B Holländargatan 32
Rent furniture or porcelain
If you need to rent for example furniture, table cloths and porclian for an event, we recommend the suppliers Tavet and Westmans.
Most often, the catering provider can handle the rental of goods for the dinner/event.
Coat hangers/wardrobe
If it is cold or wet outside, set up hangers for coats and jackets. If there is a large amount of guests, make sure to book a room to have as wardrobe, and have a dedicated person managing and guarding it. It can be useful to have number tags for the clothing and bags.
Contact events@hhs.se if you with to borrow hangers.
