Angelika Lindstrand - SSE MBA and Executive Education Academic Director
Angelika is an affiliated researcher at the Department of Marketing and Strategy at the Stockholm School of Economics. Her research concerns the internationalization of firms; how firms expand into foreign markets and with special focus on how firms can use their networks to gain knowledge and other resources that will reduce risks and create opportunities in their international operations, and thereby improve their overall performance.
Presently her studies focus on the biotechnology industry and the commercialization process of biotechnology inventions. She studies the personal and business networks involved in this process and aims to map the different factors which influence this process such as individuals, businesses, institutions and resources. The results will provide a more in depth understanding of what makes biotech firms commercially successful.
Angelika Lindstrand holds a Ph. D. in Business Administration from Uppsala University.
