Electives and seminars within CIVICA
SSE MSc students have the chance to join CIVICA activities at CIVICA partner universities through Honor Seminars (HS), multi-campus courses (MCC), joint courses (JC) and CIVICA digital mobility courses. Students who successfully passed courses / seminars will receive certificates from the CIVICA alliance.
CIVICA Honour Seminar (HS)
The CIVICA Honours Seminars offer an immersive, in-person, 3 to 5-day learning exchange for Master students at CIVICA partner universities. These bi-annual seminars, held in January and June, focus on crucial global topics and promote interdisciplinary and transnational approaches. The seminars provide a unique opportunity to engage in dynamic discussions, collaborative projects, and cultural activities, fostering a strong sense of community and European values. CIVICA institutions will cover travel and accommodation expenses for attendees of seminars.

CIVICA multi-campus courses (MCC)
The CIVICA multi-campus courses are offered fully online and are open to students from all CIVICA schools. These courses are jointly designed by professors from multiple universities, offering interdisciplinary and cross-cultural learning experiences across Europe.

CIVICA joint courses (JC)
The CIVICA joint courses are co-designed and co-taught by lecturers from two CIVICA schools.
