Describe your role and what it is that you do overall and on a day-to-day basis.
I work in the Client Relations & Capital Raising team at EQT, which is a purpose-driven global investment organization. Our team is responsible for coordinating and driving all fundraising and client service-related activities. The overarching goal for the team is to support all EQT’s business lines and funds by building and maintaining strong client relationships. I am currently focusing on the infrastructure fundraises, which is super exciting!
What interested you about the field/company/role you are currently in?
The private equity industry is deeply intriguing to me. I am particularly drawn to its capacity to drive a positive impact by actively developing and enhancing companies. Working on the capital raising side is highly interesting, as you encounter a wide range of strategies, not limited to a specific one. It is truly inspiring to work at EQT alongside intelligent and motivated individuals. This environment pushes me to perform at my best, rethink strategies, and continually seek improvement on a day-to-day basis.
Why did you choose to study your subject area at SSE?

Many of these finance courses are structured around real-life case studies, which makes the learning experience extra relevant and engaging. Instead of just reading textbooks, I had the opportunity to apply my knowledge to real-world situations, and I find this hands-on approach incredibly valuable. Lastly, applicable to all the programs at SSE, you are surrounded by high-performing individuals, which creates an excellent environment for personal development.
