Emma Toft and Elin Fogelström (Sustainability Leaders at ICA) alongside Anna Åkerblom (Sustainability Developer at ICA) held a presentation regarding ICA's sustainability initiatives and future efforts. They presented how new legislation currently affects their value chain and exemplified various negative impacts that they analyze. Thereafter, the students were asked to reflect upon what they believed ICA's role as a company was to mitigate negative impact and what type of mitigating actions ICA could take.

Some suggestions of actions were cross docking, implement a new “sustainable” concept-store and create incentive for more sustainable suppliers through increased support (e.g profitable agreements).
