Lennart Samuelson, Affiliated Researcher at the Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE), writes about the new book "The house of government: A saga of the Russian revolution" by Russian-American historian Yuri Slezkine, where the young Soviet state and everyday life after the utopian dreams faded are portrayed.
