Accounting students receive sustainability thesis prize

Two bachelor students in accounting and financial management, Anna Zhan and Josefin Halvarsson, have been awarded the thesis prize in Business Administration and Sustainability by the Research Institute for Sustainability and Ethics in Business (RiseB.se) at Umeå University. Anna and Josefin wrote their thesis "Corporate Social Responsibility and the Cost of Capital: Is CSR priced in the Swedish capital market?" under the supervision of Assistant Professor Florian Eugster in the spring of 2015. Congratulations Anna and Josefin!

Niclas Hellman receives grants from the Handelsbanken research foundations

SSE researcher Sophie Nachemson-Ekwall releases a timely report on the Swedish ownership model. The issue is addressed in the report A Sustainable Ownership Structure which has been initiated by the think thank Global Utmaning. It is a study with over 50 policy recommendations that can form a base for a broad discussion around how Sweden is owned.
